Our second location is a contemporary art gallery specializing in showcasing the artwork of Alfredo Romero, an artist renowned for his collection 'Vestiges of Our Times,' a project focused on recovering historical signs from facades in various cities across Mexico, using the archaeological technique of 'strappo.'
Black Gallery is set to promote contemporary art and provide a platform for talented artists like Romero, who invites us to reflect on history, memory, and urban transformation, turning facades into unique and timeless works of art. Through our exhibitions, we aim to spread the beauty and importance of art in our lives, inspiring our community and the visitors of the city of Mérida to explore new perspectives and emotions through art.
